August 11 Tank

It's strange to me that the GH / KH are dropping, not really sure what the deal with that is. Will keep an eye on it, want the GH to be slightly higher.

I switched out my old 3D printed dividers with a new design. The new design is diagonal across the tank and goes much deeper, additionally the mount points are wide so the dividers don't flip as the water level gets lower. So far these have been much more effective at containing duckweed.

In the photo above I have one printed with wood PLA and another with glow in the dark PLA.

My past experience with the glow in the dark PLA is that it isn't very good at glowing in the dark. Even with the lights shining on it, it does not glow at all at night. So that's a bummer.

The wood PLA looks nice, but needs to be sanded pretty thoroughly to fit onto the tank. Even with that, it is probably scratching the glass a bit.

I will eventually consolidate to one color and it will probably be the wood one despite the post-processing required.

Still waiting on shrimplets. Still catching Planaria, although not seeing a ton of them currently.

I'm also redesigning the way these tank posts are presented on my website. Instead of being one long list of updates, I will be converting it to a more "blog post" style and add backend improvements to make these posts easier to create for me. This work will probably cause a bit of delay in updates as I get it setup.
