Everything looking good. It's nice to see the nitrate level not immediately rising this week. Still haven't seen any planaria. It's been over a month since I dosed no-planaria, and I think I can officially consider the planaria eradicated.
With the planaria seemingly gone, I'm hoping to see the shrimp population grow a bit a more rapidly. We'll see what happens.
I mentioned in the last post that I didn't see as much of a size disparity as I would expect among the shrimp. But as you can see above, there is indeed a size difference.
The strange thing to me is that I basically never see babies out and about. This is unlike my other shrimp tank where I see babies wandering around all the time. Of course, this tank is heavily planted and has way more fish than my other tank. So the babies are probably just hiding. We'll see what the future brings.
